Re: Folding@home Team page created.

Try using "C:\Program Files\Folding@Home\winFAH.exe" -advmethods -forceasm -verbosity 9
on the shortcut command line thingy blah my words aren't working today..
Put draw rate onto minimum, and put CPU usage onto max (all the way right)

That's how i'm running it

I started again.
Got any tips ?

I am sure it used to be faster in the old days?

Darn! just as I was on my way to catching you, hoped to keep a low profile and sneak up on people.

Re: Folding@home Team page created.

I think the WUs are getting bigger (they sure increase in points anyway) so it was probably faster in "the old days". ;)

Re: Folding@home Team page created.

New CPU's........

Mmmmmm

Re: Folding@home Team page created.

Perhaps when I get my mini I'll install @home along side of UD. :)

Re: Folding@home Team page created.

Yeah, taking a day to do a single work unit
Ah well, done two since I started again anyway.
Might get my laptop doing it at weekends :p

Re: Folding@home Team page created.

We're at 299.

Thanks to ALL who folded and made this possible. It's a lot larger group than two months ago.

BTW: I'm waiting for Luna to blow by me soon.

Re: Folding@home Team page created.

295 according to the thing in my sig.

Re: Folding@home Team page created.

No idea what size work unit it is trying at home now :)

E.P's is.. either 3400+ or higher.. i seem to remember that from his iguana sig.. then again, it may have updated since then :lick:I'm on my 5th WU now, points racking up quite nicely.. well, goodenough anyways, should be over 250 point when i finish this one

edit: yeah stolen from the benchmark threads
CPU: AMD Athlon64 3400+ @ 2.2ghz
Motherboard: MSI Neo FiS2R, Bios rev 1.8
Memory: 2x512meg Crucial CAS3 DDR

Bios is rev 2.0 now, it all counts
Tho I recently realised that I have seen two MSI splashscreens that make no sense - bad english for over a year that they ain't fixed. Some people have crap priorities.

Also Steevo and Xsiv, your sig thingers are jiggered

That probably won't happen now, I lost one of my best rigs.

But I'll try anyway

Re: Folding@home Team page created.

293 now hehehe

Good stress test of the cpu anyway, doesn't seem to go above 40

Re: Folding@home Team page created.

Re: Folding@home Team page created.

Arr

Hate to say it, but I'm gonna have to retire from this for a while, till I get my Comp set up correctly.

Perhaps I'll be back in the next month or so.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
