Click on "tools" on the top bar. Then click "options" from the dropdown box. Then click the "general" tab on the left of the window that opens up, then click the "set default browser" button. That's it.

thanks but I already try that and still IE shows up as default browser, i even went to add/remove programs under set programs access default and try setting there but no luck so far.....any other idea?

by the way i did a clean install of firebird.......

You may want to look in "control panel"... "internet options"... then click the "programs" tab and see if the box that says "Internet Exporer should check to see whether it is default browser" is checked (at the bottum of the window). If so, uncheck it.

I'm fishin here but ya never know.

well....I like my tabs to be at the bottom of the browser...where do I find the Tabbrowser Preferences anyway?

I don't think Tabbrowser Preferences has an option for moving the tabs to the bottom. The purpose I use it for is to enable all pages to open in tabs instead of new windows.
You can find it on the official extensions page on texturizer.net, but it's unavailable at the moment. You could check back when it returns.

Maybe I posted this at a bad time before. NetRyder, can you (or someone) help me out with this?

I'm sorry, muzikool. I haven't really used TBE for more than a few minutes, and that was quite a while ago. I'll try to find an answer to your question if I can though. Hopefully, someone else here should be able to give you a reply before that.

I'm having problems with the Thunderbird 0.5, when it collects my mail, the headers are collected but I can't open the mail, can't delete it or anything, it's just stuck there

The option to set it as default browser is there.

Try clicking a link with your middle mouse button... I could be wrong though
