Isn't Winamp 5 suppose to be faster to load and easier on resources? I installed it, and i'm using the MMD3 skin and all, but it seems to load up just as slow. the filename was "winamp50superprealphaleetness2_full_noaod.exe" and i checked the ver. its 2.92. Also when ever i close WA5, it pops an error message saying runtime error. Also Ctrl+Alt+Del to check the CPU usage and Mem Usage, CPU was about 66 and Mem Usage was 30, 652 K. Is that normal? BTW I'm running a Pentium 2 ^_^

Im liking this winamp 5. Nice, handles my playlists just like the old winamp, but i cant find where it puts my html generated playlists. Also for the guy who said it takes 22+megs is you have a lot of songs on the playlist, i have 3400 mp3,s on my playlist and its taking 10 megs right now...

wtf I only have one song in my playlist, and its taking like 29mb of memory with the MMD3 skin, but when I try just the base skin its like 14mb of memory, wow what a difference When I was using winamp 2.x, with a skin or just the baase skin, it usually only took 2 - 10mb of memory.
Is it because I'm running a Pentium 2? Everyone else here is saying it takes up so little.
BTW, how come everytime I open winamp 5, it always opens in the center of the screen?
K!Chill Winston!!!
Are you using a skin? it gave me an error beep when I had it running+skinned. When closing Winamp down does anyone else here get an error 'beep'. More of an annoyance than anything else.
A pentium2 isn't your memory is it what speed is the chip and how much system memory do you have?Is it because I'm running a Pentium 2?
