Really nice AC97 drivers new!!!!!

Yes youre probably right Kermit.
However my AC drivers are part of a multiple driver mobo setup on disc, inc usual IDE etc/Sound/Onboard video/ACR , sort of similar to Via 4 in 1, but difficult to isolate each one. separately.
Does not show separate entry for AC97 in "Add/Remove".

If you go to your hardware manager and expand the plus sign next to the sound, video, controllers ..you should have access to your sound card drivers and from there be able to update the driver by pointing it to the folder where you downloaded the drivers too 🙂

Why don't these drivers appear on th MS update site? they used to. Downloaded and apart from the pre-set "eq" settings appear identical to the last drivers, work fine though.

Because they arn't WHQL or Digitally Signed 😉
