windows xp professional
msi k8t800 socket 754
athlon64 3400+
2xcorsair XMS ddr3200 cas2 (running @ cas2.5)
radeon 9700pro AIW

moved cas latency to default 2.0 and retested

19154

nothing else changed...

I am assuming this makes it pretty easy to break 20k and go beyond...

this test is more cpu based than 3dmark03 which I am going to try in a bit...

some of the frame-rates I am getting are ridiculous... over 460 in lobby and over 350 in car chase... both low detail

I don't understand, I am getting 3361.

With this setup, you'd think That I would get somewhat better scores.

I don't know which 3dmark I am running, must be a different one than all yours.

Just checked, it is 3DMark03.

Where can I get 3Dmark01 se 330? Tried that link and it gave me this one.

Heeter

Well,

11939 sounds more compared to the rest than 3361.

I can't post my benchmarks on Futuremark, I did not buy the Pro version. Just trying out the demo.

Heeter

you can post :)

you don't need the pro to post your scores...

just upload them and then publish...

Sweeet Sazar - and thats stock.....

<Checks Bank balance>
Damn
</Checks Bank balance>

Sulks...

yes... its stock.. no oc on card or cpu/mobo...

@ the moment I fail to see a need to push it beyond what it is capable of...

I am still puzzled why the 3dmark03 test showed my gfx card being 20mhz over stock though since I don't even have any tweaking tools to adjust the mem/core clocks...

must be a bug...

1280x1024 (or higher), 8x AA, 16x AF :D

my 9800pro just came today.

kewl... will be waiting for your scores :)

you should get a better score in 3dmark03 I think... :)

yeah, 03 score should just about quadruple. which is one reason why i'm not fond of 03... it's more gpu dependent than most all games. and your score plummets totally if you don't have a dx9 card.

i'm going to hate benchmarking with my lowered fsb. :(

If you have an old video card fan attach it to the top of the chipset heatsink with double sided thermal tape. Worked for me until I stuck my finger it when the blades were turning.

ouch :/

LeeJend,

You always put your fingers where they don't belong..........
I guess it's better than sticking your nose in there!

Heeter

Ahh, don't worry. A needle and thread and some super glue and it was fine again. The fan was a total loss though.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
