Well I got the TBE to work at Work on that computer. Seems if ya reinstall Firefox 0.9 and rename the original one the Firefox Old or whatever you fancy the when ya D/L TBE it works.

Also I notices that now on this machine at Work the Ad Blocker does not work. It is installed and all and it shows up on the "Tools" tab, but...

FreeBSD firefox users, the linuxpluginwrapper (/usr/ports/www/linuxpluginwrapper/) doesnt work completely, you can remove it completely, but as you may well need flash and things like that the best thing is to remove the non working (read useless) part of the linuxpluginwrapper

edit all the references for the Acrobat5 plugin from your /etc/libmap.conf file and also do the following
cd /usr/X11R6/lib/browser_plugins/
mv nppdf.so nppdf_so.old
cd /usr/local/Acrobat5/Browsers/intellinux/
mv nppdf.so nppdf_so.old
cd /opt/mozilla/plugins/
mv nppdf.so nppdf_so.old

you can of course rename them to something else or remove them, but if it starts workin again then you can just rename them back

The acrobat plugin has never worked for me, the program runs fine, but the plugin doesn't.

I just updated...the backup/restore utility doesn't work or atleast it doesn't work yet, or I am doing something wrong. Anyone know how I can get my favorites back from the .pcv file?

FD, since v0.9 uses a different profile folder, your old bookmarks should be in
Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data\Phoenix, the new personal folder is
Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox

Just copy the bookmarks.html file from .\Phoenix\Default\garbled\ to .\Mozilla\Firefox\Default\.
