Don't know either, but Jack said the person was neither friend nor family. I'm sure they didn't tell us because they don't want us to know who does and doesn't leave the island alive.

Quite an end to the season. I'm not sure how I feel about what was revealed, but it was interesting nonetheless.

that was amazing, but it leaces way toooo many questions, and the flash forward is cool, but i kinda wish they didnt do it, but its comming to an end...what if that was the last ep, and they where just f'n with us about having it longer..that would suck!

Actually...according to Desmond's vision he needed to die before they could be rescued. Hence he locked himself in that room even though he could have easily escaped.
