It's not private, its just not public (if that makes any sence)
I dont think that using this client will enable you to get a head start when the new DB is in place, I'm pretty sure nirgle will have thought of that.
Also nirgle DOES know when someone starts using the client that he hasn't sent it to. So i'm not going to start freely distributing it.
