weeeeeeeeeee :D

well I installed 0.9.3 of firefox and even after a fresh install of windows I still have the same problem where it stays open in my memory even after I close it. it holds onto like 40 megs of ram after I close the program and it hangs my comp when I shut down some of the time...I only have tabbrowser extensions installed and dom inspector(never installed this seems like it installed when I installed firefox)

if anyone has had similar problems or has an extension of tabbed browsing other than tabbrowser extension

thanks dream...I uninstalled tab extensions and installed preferences and so far no sign of firefox staying in my mem...I did this right after I posted so I should have come back and edited it...sorry...so it must have been tab extensions that had a hang up or something cause now the problem is gone

I remember some of you were looking for a spellchecker built into Firefox. Here it is...

SpellBound is a port of the spell checker user interface from Mozilla's Composer that enables spell checking in web forms (e.g. html textarea and html input elements - html input password elements are not checked by SpellBound - wysiwyg rich text forms). This allows you to spell check forms (e.g. message board post, blog, etc.) before submitting them when using Firefox. There are no special system requirements beyond those to run Firefox 0.9 or above and it has been verified to work with Windows, Linux, and MacOS X

Very nice. Hopefully v1.0Mac shall be tweaked to use the OS's in-built spell checking though :)

Hi Guys,

Which folder does FireFox 0.9 contain all my passwords/usernames?

Thanks in advance.

The profile folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\[Username]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\default.[xxx]

Of course, the usernames/passwords are encrypted before they're stored.

Thanks, Nets.

I am just transferring them onto another machine of mine. Putting this one up for sale.

The actual files you need for the username and passwords are cert8.db and key3.db, at least they are for me :)

does mozilla have problems with the height="%" or style="height: %;"? when I use percentages for image dimentions, the height does not display correctly.

for example <img src="blah.gif" class="IMG" style="height: 40%; width: 40%;" />

it works in IE but not in mozilla/firefox. the IMG class just tells the img not to display the border.

Hi Guys,

My Firefox 0.9 asks me everytime I open it if it checks to see if it is my default browser. I always uncheck the box so that never asks me again, but it still does, everytime. How can I stop from getting this popup all the time?

Thanks in advance,

Heeter
