lol.. I usually use IE for this forum. 😀

One thing that annoys the hell out of me is that Firefox downloads all images as if they were files. i.e. ff freezes for a sec while it downloads and then the dl window pops up. I've changed all settings in options that i could find.

They have stuff here and here. 🙂
Yeah, but that's a (huge) list of examples. I want a complete list of all the tricks you can apply to Mozilla using named files, I know, I am thourough 😛

That's one thing I like to see changed as well. All images are loaded in cache anyway, so FF could just copy them over from cache to the download folder.

Here's another screen shot of FireFox splattering random numbers in random spots when I try to browse the net.

Hmm, has it always had this beheaviour? Try uninstalling all extensions/themes you might have and reinstall them one by one, maybe one is f_cking up.

I haven't added anything to it.
Same thing shows up on my laptop too.

I assume you use the 'official' version, meaning no nightlies, but the actual download link on the homepage?

OK, and another (taken just now)

there is an extension that brings up all your profile files so that you can edit them directly in the browser...if anyone can point me to this would be greatly appreciated

Is there a way, in TB, to make it so when you reply to an email it doesn't automatically add that person to your contact list?

In the TB "Options" (click on "tools" on the top bar)... under "Advanced"... under the heading "General Settings".

Make sure that the box "Automatically add outgoing e-mail addresses to my:" is unchecked. I have it checked on mine (and on the attachment I have posted). If you don't want anyone to be added uncheck it.
