hmm i just finished my second WU. One on two machines running at same time with same user name. but it is only showing one WU... which is the newer one.. im confused can i not use same names on the machines. hehe it was a *ucking huge WU too..

The stats take a while to update, that's why you don't see the new unit right away.

Crap... guys I loaded folding@home and now everytime I try and log-in using the login I installed folding on my CPU it locks up and freezes out my CPU this is crap, I cant even get my machine to stay on the desktop long enough to exit folding to remove it from my PC

you have something set wrong or oveclocked too hard maybe.... can you delete that logon (from what you are saying it is not on as a service) did you select a console only version? There have been some probs with the others maybe - but nothing I know of that cannot be fixed - tell us more and help is at hand (I think) although personally I am for bed so gimme 24 hours to get back!

I'm up to 28,000 points. I hope I get to 30,000 before SHAROB catches me. It's only a matter of time. The only good thing about moving DOWN the list, is that the team is really moving upward (downward?).

If you can hold out for three weeks you'll be fine - unfortunatly I'm losing my three best folding machines at Easter. Even if I do catch you, there may be a chance of you taking the lead back from me. :nervous:
PS I never thoght we'd be fighting over 30,000 points. I'm pretty pleased where the teams got to over the last few months.

I use the pretty version too -It's easier to see whats happening (EMIII and FAHmon sometimes lie)

Did you accidentally set the thread priority higher than idle? Like realtime? Try safemode.

can you delete that logon (from what you are saying it is not on as a service) did you select a console only version? I used my Administrator login and uninstalled it.. which is the version that runs in the background? I used the one which runs in your task bar..

Nope I would never do that, now if I was going away for a long weekend, to cram some points I might set it at High, but never Realtime...

"Background version" is the (no-nonsense) Console version, it's on the download page. The "pretty version" is the normal one with GUI.
