NetRyder, thanks for the info about cookie handling, I'll get the build you suggested and try it out.

As for Flash, I did what you recommended and had no luck. The DLL shows up in the plugins folder, but flash animations still won't load. I read somewhere that it can be troublesome to get Flash working if the browser was not installed via an installer, which it wasn't in my case. I'll try it again after updating my build to see if that makes any difference.

You might need to do something before installing the Flash plugin. Download this .reg file (http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/resources/firebird.reg) and open it in Notepad. Edit the path in the file to your Firebird installation, and then double click the file to add the required keys to the registry. This is what the unofficial Firebird installer does as well.
After you've done that, try doing what I mentioned in my previous post.

If it doesn't work, we might have to look for some other way.

used chrome://pippki/content/pref-masterpass.xul then used the change password option, filled in my password and left the new password fields blank. Job done

Still not working, but it's the themes that have to be updated and not the browser (unless they revert back to an older theming method?) so I reckon most themes wont be updated until there is a stable release out with a set theming method.

Also in the Options box under Webfeatures, how do i add a site that images can be or not be downloaded from, it doesnt seem to let me do it?

Im Using 0.6.1 BTW....

Images: Right click and select block image, doesn't look like there's a way to manually add them unless it's via a file instead of the FB GUI.

Java: After installing Suns JavaVM ( http://java.sun.com ) save the attached file, open it, check the file paths, then change .txt to .reg and run it.

But i still see the little jigsaw Peice... Im using Java 1.4.2_01 (Build B06) by Sun.

However, im not sure your right (risky) because there is no mention of Java or any Java components or locations in that file so i dont see (or understand) how that could have worked.

that bit was added to the file when I attached it (which is why I removed it) I've uploaded the reg file here, see if that works.

I know that there's no mention of java etc, and I honestly don't know how it works , but I just know it works for me (I can't remember where I got it from originally, but I'll try find more info on it.)

userContent.css file:

userContent.css

This file sets the display rules for web content and is located in the sub-folder called chrome in your profile folder. As with user.js, this file does not exist by default, so you need to create it before you can start adding your preferences. As with userChrome.css, there is an example file that exists by default, called userContent-example.css. Basically, you can just rename that file by removing the "-example" part.

this is a little jumpy when I'm on a slow connections and trying to read before the page is finnished loading
