Evrytime u custimise a folder or make it have a certain icon the desktop.ini is made... ok. i am and advanced user so i like to have the hidden files shown, is there anyway i can have the hiden files showing but all the desktop.ini's hidden??? it really makes me mad!:mad: :mad: :mad:

Hmm sorry man, don't think there is a way to hide just one specific named file while viewing all the others. There might be a 3rd party program to do it, but I can't seem to find any native XP feature to :(

Yeah, just hide 'protected system files.' What's the point of looking at them anyway? You can't delete them so why look at 'em.
