i want to be able to make scripts in windows that let me save a lot of time, for example, i do alor of encoding in DR DIVX, and then i want it to output the files after endoing then i can call another script to add it to an authoring file with the pre-determined menus.... well something along...

and... i forgot to mention that i am usually converting from MPG, AVI (uncompressed i guess) and some XVID aswell, the sizes for MPG/AVI are usually 600mb, i get them down to about 350-400mbs after conversion using Dr Divx 1.6 w/ 850kb/s video and 192kb/s sound ... with XVID i get about 250mbs...

DIVX2DVD, i like this program but i dont think it can do multiple DIVX files on one DVD,.... is this possible? anyone know a good tool for that? i heard DVD SANTA is good... i also heard that XVID is better than DIVX, should start encoding to XVID? and is there a good XVID2DVD program that does...

its wierd.. from what i understand its not possible to to go to UDMA5 in SATA.... the lowest speed for SATA is UDMA6.... so i think it could be just a display bug/glitch

I had the same problem, but i have 2 sticks of 512mb, one is a samsung pc3200 and the other was is a kingston pc2700, .... my problem was BSOD's when i changed my memory's speed to pc3200,... i got the BSOD's once in a while, so i changed it back to pc2700 and no BSOD's.... so i guess it was...

120GB WD 7200rpm w/ 8mb cache I just replaced my 80GB 7200rpm Maxtor with a 120GB WD 7200rpm w/ 8mb cache and for some reason it runs a little slower.... i dunno why but my maxtor felt more responsive, now everytime i click on something its like it takes a few secs to think about it then does...
