Re: New toy: Windows Mobile 5.0 phone

The software is amazing, and polite. Although the room has to be rather quiet for her to hear your request (or she says, "excuse me?"). So many commands. The only ones I can remember are "What is my battery level?" and "What is my signal strength?"

Lovely woman.

Re: New toy: Windows Mobile 5.0 phone

Have to love a woman who does anything you ask, and when she can't understand she asks you for clarification :p

Re: New toy: Windows Mobile 5.0 phone

a friend of mine just made the voice command a gift and I have installed it today, I haven't had a chance to go through the instructions and will be working on finals and work all day

any quick hints would be much appreciated

thanx in advance

Re: New toy: Windows Mobile 5.0 phone

"What is my battery life" works great! Oh, and "Help!".

Re: New toy: Windows Mobile 5.0 phone

nice, will use those today while driving

thank you sir

Re: New toy: Windows Mobile 5.0 phone

"What is my signal strength?"

And you can always say "Help" followed by the command, i.e. "Help Contacts".

Re: New toy: Windows Mobile 5.0 phone

Is there any online documentation with initial commands?

Re: New toy: Windows Mobile 5.0 phone

Probably on the Voice Command web site. You can say "help" and she will tell you what you can do.

Re: New toy: Windows Mobile 5.0 phone

well I had a ball with this program today, she kept me some nice company

I was especially surprised how accurate she recognized numbers, and got everyone righ exept for "6" which she thinks is an "8"

otherwise, tons of fun

Re: New toy: Windows Mobile 5.0 phone

Learn any good commands that I need to know.

Re: New toy: Windows Mobile 5.0 phone

not yet, I just played around with her...she's a tease you know

Re: New toy: Windows Mobile 5.0 phone

Can you teach it new commands? Now THAT would be sweet.

Re: New toy: Windows Mobile 5.0 phone

don't know yet, just got it as a gift..let's ask matt or teh netster

hey guys, can you teach her some new tricks?

or can she only do what she's been told to do from microsoft

Re: New toy: Windows Mobile 5.0 phone

No, you can't. Only her creator can program her.

Re: New toy: Windows Mobile 5.0 phone

Madmatt - are you using this via POP3, and then syncing with your Outlook via Activesync until you get Exchange up and running?

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
