Dual Boot with XP / Vista Problem

This was a really strange problem. What happend was Vista has a different boot loader then NT/XP. So it created a \boot folder and a bootsect file on my C: drive. What I did was deleted that boot folder and the file, as well as my boot.ini folder. That fixed the Vista dual boot screen during...

Flash Drive not detected on front USB ports

Cool, I just called Antec and they said they had a problem back in 2003 with the USB ports not reading USB 2.0. So I was right, my flash drive doesn't work on 1.1 ports for some reason. They are going to send me the little USB board for me to replace. Awesome.

Flash Drive not detected on front USB ports

I bought a 1GB PQI Intelligent Stick 2.0 flash drive. For some reason it doesn't work on my front USB ports. I have two in the front and four in the back. It works fine in the back. I never had any problems with my front USB ports and I use my digital camera in the front all the time. Any ideas?

    SATA Hard Drive Question

Both of those drives in your original post are SATA ONE drives, not II. Although the one labeled SATA II says it's SATA II, it's not. It's a little misleading, they meant that it has SATA II features, such as command queueing. SATA II is not even out yet, because it works at a top speed of...

Which hard drive should I get?

You should get a SATA drive with 16MB buffer. Check http://www.newegg.com If my damn computer would accept SATA as primary without the use of drivers I would install it as my primary. You have to have a floppy drive to install the drivers if you plan on using a SATA drive as your primary (in...
