When Windows XP is running my burner keeps trying to read when there is nothing in the drive. So then it keeps freezing up when this is going on... Any idea what to do? I tried new drivers... right now I have the case open and the stinker unplugged!

with Windows XP screwing up! No idea whats going on but it keeps crashing on me and its a mess! I thought maybe it was ONE program causing it but everything is making it do this... I dont want to have to reformat! UG!

Can someone tell me the purpose of the "security updates"? And why they are sooo critical?? They don't give any explanation but when I go into my add/remove programs theres like a ton of them in there! Whats the reason!

Ok, my father decided that he wanted to tap into my cable modem and got this Linksys router. Needless to say it works ok until one day it just is void of all memory and I have to go into the firmware and fix it all. :mad: SO... now certain programs wont work... my Serv-U (ftp program) wont...

Hey all, thought I'd pop in to say hello. Been so busy between work, classes and my car it's unreal! But the paint job that my car was getting is all finished and I'm thankful as anything!!! I can throw up two pictures here for a little bit just to show it off... just gotta do it...

On the Sound Schemes dialog box there is a list of the different sounds and what they are for...well there WAS one in the list called "Default" and now its missing. The wav file is still in there but its not on the list for me to add it in. When you would check the volume on the system tray...

You know when you either put in a CD or attach a digital camera or anything that is external a menu pops up telling you what is in there and what your options are for it and which do you want? WELL I'll choose my option but it wont open whatever it is.... and I REALLY hope that everyone...

One of my friends who also has XP is having problems with outlook express. I was just over there and tried to see if I could find the problem with no luck.:( When you open the program it says its connecting to server but doesnt always find it... most of the time not. He has a LinkSYS...
