While using IE7 I'm unable to find the mail button that IE6 had is that gone?

Yes. However, you can still send a "page" or "link" by email. Simply press the ALT key so your menubar appears, go to File, Send, ....

Once you choose your command the menubar will disappear.

You can also send a page by email using the "Page" button on the toolbar ("Send this Page").

Opening it via your start menu appears to be the only way to do so.

With the release of IE7, Outlook Express is no longer integrated. They will be standalone products from now on.

Is this tweak i used on IE before no longer valid on IE7?

The only switch I am aware of right now is the one for no addons...

try it and see if it will work for you.

I have just downloaded and installed the new beta Explorer 7 and it appears to be OK but I will make my final decision after a couple of days. One thing that perhaps somebody in the know can help me with.

I am obliged to use a 56k modem and a dial up connection. When clicking on the explorer icon I get the usual connection box and then I get another connection which I associate with the folder Network connections, the second one comes up after I have clicked on the first or normal one.

It then connects but the original connection box remains on the monitor, if I try to close it down I am then disconnected, there may be a simple answer to this and I do understand that it is a beta version. Anybody any ideas please.

Ok i've installed the preview and now my McAfee VirusScan 10 wont work, all i get is blank pages, anyone got any ideas?

I am not sure if this works for IE7, but you could set your homepage to about:blank.
