I am trying this out now ... I am liking it so far. I just wish there was some way to customize the toolbar more ... Maybe they will fix it in later releases ..

There's not much you can do to the toolbar, that's for sure. I like the toolbar though, simple and easy to use.

There's not much you can do to the toolbar, that's for sure. I like the toolbar though, simple and easy to use.

I like the toolbar in the sense there is FINALLY useful stuff there. None of that stupid copy/paste/print/email crap you can do through hotkeys. I love the shortcut for the RSS feeds and favorites and quick tabbing, very nice indeed

i am running the new IE 7 Beta from the link on the first post of this page.
I run Serve U FTP on my home pc. (i am on my laptop now) I can no longer connect to my FTP site at home with IE 7 Beta 2. I just get the page cannot be displayed error. I can however connect to it from any other IE version. Anyone else have this problem, or know a workaround.

Which build are you running, 5299 or 5296?

I know this isn't the answer, but why are you using the browser and not an FTP client to connect?

becasue it is easy to use, and i always have IE open its just easier for me

Are you trying to access via IP or hostname?

Maybe it's looking for an IIS installation?

ip address... and rememeber it works fine from everywhere and every program except IE 7 beta 2

Hmm, using IE 7 Beta 2, same version as you, I was able to access ftp.mozilla.org both through DNS and IP ftp://64.50.236.52/

I did notice, however, it does say Windows Internet Explorer at the end of the title. But, it does say Microsoft at the beginning. Is your like that, or does it say Windows in both spots?
