win 2000 and xp

is there a way that i can install windows 2000 on my hard drive that already has XP on it with full partition.

Well yes there is but its not the recommend way and is also not the best thing to do if your not sure on what your doing. So I'll leave the rest of the answer up to somebody else as I've never done it so I'm not sure on how to do it.

It is 100% unsafe to do this.

Your best bet is to make a small partition big enough for Win2k and a little slack for updates etc. I'm sure you can spare 4 gigs for just Win2k?

If you want to install an older OS on your system you need to use a 3rd party utility such as Partition Magic 7.0. While there is a workaround, it is fairly complex.
