Just to beat X, company RADIUS server: 5:27PM up 529 days, 2:29, 1 user, load averages: 0.02, 0.03, 0.07
My server, reinstalled OS last month: 5:33PM up 35 days, 1:33, 3 users, load averages: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00

Laptop though lasts about 7 days before I reboot into windows to play some games 😛

[Dark Atheist]

i think screenshots are required - as the saying goes "pictures or it never happened" 😛

[Aprox]

My Debian server has been up for 232 Days, damn power outages! Before that I think it had been up for over a year.

[Moonwraith]

4 days 6 hours 4 minutes - thanks to revision

Normally have to restart every 5 hours or so as I tend to end up with graphics issues in most games

[Sazar]

My longest was about 3 weeks. I try to stay upto date with the latest drivers and reboot occasionally for that.

😀

[madmatt]

Damn impressive.

[kcnychief]

With Vista and hotpatching this will become more common 🙂

[X-Istence]

Nah, Windows will still require a reboot every two or three months.

[Dark Atheist]

months??!!! every patch tuesday so once every four weeks 😛

[madmatt]

He is suggesting once hotpatching actually works (Windows 7).

[fitz]

that's making the assumption that Microsoft gets it working in Windows 7 🙂

*runs*

[Dark Atheist]

they said about hot patching in xp, and that it would require less reboots, said the same about vista - i feel there is a trend in there somewhere 😛

[X-Istence]

A trend that is failure.

[Henyman]

server ftw 😀

[roirraW "edor" ehT]

😀

Wow, yes that is impressive. Jeez, up until now I've been impressed that I haven't reinstalled my normal desktop computer since 5/15/2007! 🙂

I remember reading story several years back about a server that was "lost" at UNC. Eventually they found it sealed behind some drywall by mistake.

The server had been running at least 4 years without any problems.
