I work for a TV station as an editor.

And, no offense to anyone, I was brought up to find discussions of salaries to be a bit improper, so I don't feel comfortable disclosing it...lol.

Qualified Welder, but I'm a CAD Draughtsman at the moment. Work for a company called Hubbard Architectural Metalwork - we make balustrades, staircases, handrails etc.

Wow today was my first day and man o man lol

We make sand aluminum or w/e its called in one area which is where I am at. I did everything everybody else did. I didn't do it alone but helped them do it. Making molds over and over isn't fun at all. I am not the type of person that likes doing things over and over.

Overall it was fine. Funny people in my area and they didn't mind teaching me what to do and what not so thats good.

One 15 min break and a 30 min lunch :).

Tomorrow I help someone paint so I am glad I won't be doing what I did today.

I got there at 4:50am and that one dude wasnt there yet so finally at 5:30 someone came and got me. He never told me to punch in or where it was at. So i didn't punch in!...but I will tell someone tomorrow

Cause i was suppose to be there at 5am. Plus I wanted to make sure I wasnt late.

Oh yeah I was thinking it was 5:30. Good of you to be there a bit early.

I manage the computer lab at a middle school and I am the webmaster for the school.
Additionally, I am the first person teachers and staff call when they have a computer related problem. Great Job-- Summers off.

$11 per hr.

From what I hear teachers have two options, they can get paid more during the year and not get paid during the summer, or they can get paid less and get paid year round. I talked to my old art teacher about it and he would get paid more during the year and find a second job during the summer. Sounds pretty good, even if you dont make that much. Summer off, two weeks for "Winter" break, its worth not getting paid much :p

We had a manager at McD's who did that.

Managers there make a decent living too. He only worked like two nights a week during school.

I know of a manager that works for McD's and they only make $40,000 and they mange 4 of them in our county :|.

If you make $16 a hour to be a manager and make your own hours, plus benefits, plus work at school, and their benefits.........

I'm the Controller of a retail store chain which sells art supplies in about 35 stores across the US. We've recently hired some outside programmers to upgrade our web store at www.Utrecht.com.

My best job ever was as V.P. Finance of an intimate apparel company. I was lucky enough to see a number of selling shows where models were wearing our newly designed bras and panties. I knew when that job ended, that I would never have such a great job again in my life. And I haven't.

Could you possibly find my school loan and make it disappear?

Supervisor of Computer Operations at ACS. An outsourcing company which acquired myself and a few others in an acquistion almost 2 1/2 years ago.

Money could be better but it pays the bills, kinda :p

As far as hard labor goes, poured basements for a while. Almost cut my finger off and then fell off a 4 foot wall dislocating my shoulder. Shortly after that I decided that the job was going to kill me so I went back to school. I'm now a Specialist Operator making $16.12/hr for WE, but not for long. Moving to Virginia. Salary, what's that? Just give me 20/hr and overtime and I'll be happy. Double time on Sundays rule.

Speeking of jobs, anyone in the Warrenton area looking for a PC Tech or Computer Operator with an A.S. in Computer Information Systems and 6 years experience, wages are negotiable. I'll be there Oct 1st.

Thanks

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
