I have been back and forth with designs, and web development styles.

This is what I want....what I need to know how to do is this...

Underneath the menu, the light blue, I want that to automaticly expand, when there is more things in it. Do you know what I mean?

What type of coding do I need to use, and how do I go about doing that.

*of course this is only an image right now....*

well I think you need to rethink the font and size of the menu.

However I think the best way to do this would be to use invisible layers (div tags) and unhide the correct one on mouse over with css and javascript.

so you guys think the font should be smaller, or the whole boxes?
Both. :)

The fonts need to be smaller, and so the boxes would need to be as well or they would look much too large for the text they contain. I imagine that the content is the most important part of your site, and so it's important to get it as close to the top as possible, while still having a nice header and navigation menu.

I agree the font and boxes should be smaller, doesn't quite look right the way it is now. Also it seems as if the header hangs off over the sides of the body, not sure if that's by design or not...

A little better, but IMO the fact that ..bio and ..links have so much more "whitespace" around them looks a bit off. I would try to accomplish more balance there.

Even though it's not technically whitespace, I'm sure you get my point.

Anoter thing, and I know I'm being a pain, if you are a web designer and want to be taken seriously, I think you should lose the graphic on top and pursue something that looks more professional.

I love the image, I want to keep it one way or another. I want to be professional but still have my style with it. The whole whitespace i get, its hard to fix that...

better...worse....idea....

no matter which menu style i keep, i want to have it so that when someone clicks on the menu, say info.....

a box pops up in the middle of the screen, I guess using javascript, but I don't know javascript...do you know what I mean.....

I love the image as well and would use it myself if you weren't using it. :)

I like the last 2 iterations of the design -- the only thing I would change is the font style that you chose for the menu titles. It looks like a web standards font when it shouldn't have to be since it can be part of the graphic. A clean font is good, but I'd go for something with a bit more style.

Just my 2 pennies. :)
