Most of you anti-war posters here are not really anti war but are just anti-Bush. You can't get over this thing that Bush won the election and what's-his-chops-didn't.
All your lame arguments revolve around totally personalised issues that clearly are irrelevant to the actual situation in the Middle East.
Saddam Hussain is an evil dictator and mass murderer.
WOMD will be discovered in Iraq.
The People of Iraq will be much better off without Saddam Hussain.
The world will be safer because of this war.
God Bless Britain and America. We are the only two countries in the world that are able to stand up for what is right and decent.

yes... good points... saddam is an evil man... iraq (especially the shi'ites) will be much better off without him... as well as the kurds..
WOMD being discovered... they should be there... probably... but none have been found thus far... and as time progresses there will be intense pressure for this to be proven...
the world safer because of this war? I do not agree with that point completely... in a manner of speaking... perhaps...
however saddam was not an imminent threat... nor was he truly as evil as he has been portrayed as being... certainly no more so than say a Pinochet... another one of the 'regime change' beneficiaries from days past...
the idea of changing the regime of a nation via a de facto coup is not something I support... it is a very dangerous precedent...
terrorism is likely to spike because of the actions taken as well... there was not the international support that would have made this 'right' and the people who have died certainly did not deserve to die..
blaming the 'non-patriots' for attacking just bush and not anything else is partially correct... but then this war is bush's baby... look no farther than his leaked political agenda... he WANTED to fight.. and he got his wish...
I am displeased @ the thought that the president of my nation has not spent as much time planning for the future of this nation domestically as he has spent time and energy and money in getting this war into action...
do not forget we are in the midst of a recession... war does help... that is true... but the economic climes and other factors currently do not seem to point to a sudden economic recovery... especially as this farcical war continues...
why farcical? well... frankly... who really thought iraq stood a chance? really ? the whole claim of WE WILL PREVAIL... I mean come on... that was a given from even before the start of the war... the shock and awe was that it took THIS long to get things in order... and it took the lives of over 100 coalition lads and ladies and hundreds of civilians to achieve...
it is not bush's fault... by any means... but he does have to take responsibility for the actions...
eventually... I am sure things will seem rosier and enough pr spin will be applied to suppress the negatives... as have occured in previous conflicts... heck I know people who think we won in vietnam... and this is from a non-political point of view... just a generalisation about our apathy to the non-personalized beings... they are the enemy... and hence must be destroyed... regardless of the threat level... brand them all terrorists... play 9/11 music/images and voila... there is justification seems to be the order of the day...
it is sad that it has come to this...
/end rant...
