Trouble falling asleep and waking up

It should be noted that difficulty falling asleep and feeling unrested and tired when you wake up can be two separate issues.

A physician can definitely give more information but it's possible your REM cycle of sleep is being interrupted. They might want to monitor your sleep pattern.

Hope you find a solution soon. I know how nasty it can be. :(

1) I find that listening to talk radio before I go to bed helps me fall asleep. If you live in the eastern US, wbz 1030am is great.

2) Trouble waking up/tiredness could be a sign of apnea. See a doctor.

lately i have been goin to bed good now since school started. I usally lay there and think about stuff. Like o **** i forgot to get my paper signed for school or like if i should break up wit my gf or somethin. just weird stuff...but i usally fall asleep when i tell myself to stop thinkin. :p

I got the sleep pattern down.

Sleep 4-5hrs a night on the week days.
Sleep 2-3hrs a night on week ends.

Crash every few weeks. I usally go for 14-20hr naps. Makes the weekend suck, but I feel good afterwords.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
