Its not a driver related problem ... the card at one point must have over heated or it is just plain old and its time has come.

A technicality that doesn't matter anymore, but in your post you said you updated to the "latest" drivers, which do not support the 9000 anymore.

yes my graphic card is Radeon 9000 and i just updated the latest drivers 3 weeks ago.
