Many programs have a setting somewhere in their options whether to enable "shell integration" or not.
If you can't find it in there you'll have to search the registry for these strings. Most of them are found in
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ *\ shellex\ ContextMenuHandlers
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ Folder\ shellex\ ContextMenuHandlers
You can delete the subkeys you don't want. Export the keys first just to be on the safe side.
yoyo, I looked through those places in the registry to try and get rid of something specifically from the context menu of my Recycle Bin, but I didn't find anything pertaining to it. Can you help me out?
As you said in the other thread you want to remove the Treesize entry from the menu of the recycle bin.
It is called from HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder. Don't think there is a special setting for the recycle bin context menu.
You could try to delete the entry from HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell and restore it at HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell. Should not appear in the Recycle Bin menu afterwards ( not for MyComputer as well).
Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS
