How bout some client suggestions for windows?

If you're stuck with windows, ssh to a Linux/BSD box, utilise screen and a command line client.

My linux firewall doesnt have an IRC client. And Id rather use Hydra

london.uk.squeaknet.net is up right now (though chelmsford is down).... then again X58 is opping an EFnet channel..... which kinda makes me think #OSNN is sinking....

The current server IP is in the title. This will be the home of our chat until further announcement is made.

We're not moving to EFNet if it can be helped (and it looks like it can )

efnet is trash... i cant believe its the default irc server for mIRC.

on a side note, what client / scripts are you guys using?

I use latest version of mIRC (6.17) and nnscript 4.03 (www.nnscript.de), it's very nice.

Personally, I think that scripts are a total waste of time. You need a window, and a text input line. That's all IRC should be.

I am over scripts myself, but there are a few nice little things you can do with them
