you are watching a game with BIG men bashing the crap out of each other... fighting on a very regular basis (more fights in this than any other super bowl I have seen... even if they were more minor)... you have copious amounts of cleavage and titilating dance moves performed by scantily clad women... you have suggestive songs being sung... you have double-entendres in pretty much every other ad shown... and yet somehow one breast being shown on national television (either by accident or on purpose) is supposed to denegrate the youth of this country to a level they have not seen ?
I fail to see the logic in that argument...
One day after Janet Jackson's shocking Super Bowl halftime performance, the singer took responsibility for the breast-baring incident and said she never intended the stunt to go as far as it did.
"The decision to have a costume reveal at the end of my halftime show performance was made after final rehearsals," Jackson said in a statement released Monday (February 2). "MTV was completely unaware of it. It was not my intention that it go as far as it did. I apologize to anyone offended — including the audience, MTV, CBS and the NFL."
