I am without power and phone right now. Battery backup on all network stuff and baterry on laptop may not last long. Will try to be on as long as possible.

DNS should be good, clear your dns caches with ipfconfig /flushdns if on windows, tell bind to flush cache, and or tell dnscache from DJB to flush all cache.

I just flushed my cache, and it is resolving.

xsivforce: please do me a favor, add a.ns.spammers-paradise.com and b.ns.spammers-paradise.com with the same IP's as ns1 and ns2 respectively. Both will be in the system, until we can be really sure it has propogated. It makes the data file look neater for the dns server. (I am a neat freak)
 
So far i have running:

Mail
local dns cache
and the dns server 🙂

Still coming up:

Apache 2
MySQL
PHP 5

After that, it should be a breeze.
 
PHP5? The last time that I attempted to use it, all my mysql thingies were broken. Are you sure it's safe to use that?

Yep. All MySQL thingies broke cause it does not include a standard MySQL library cause of the licensing change. So all you have to do is get it to link against the system MySQL.

Works neatly on breached. No problems what so ever.

MySQL is installed and ready to go 🙂
 
Hmm, you'll have to learn me how to do that, when I am upgrading my current 4.x FreeBSD box. 🙂

The black box flashes up then disappears before I can do it 😱
 
i.p shows up as 67.18.86.2 , this the right 1?
 
i presume it is as theplanet.com shows up in the tracert 😱
