Has anyone installed Nero on Vista?

a better solution (well, in my opinion) is not to unregister nero's filters (since you paid for them, and who knows, you might actually want them) is to install ffdshow.

I had a problem with certian folders, but not all. Deleting the "desktop.ini" and "Thumbs.db" files corrected my problem.

Er yeah I mean regsvr32 of course.
Only AVI files get messed up.

Not sure how to decrease merit, but unregistering filters works fine, not tried nero vision yet but why would you need two filters for the same codec on teh same pc anyway, especially when the nero one refuses to play properly.

Well most of mine were messed up so rather than searching and deleting all those I just wiped all of them
