I didnt need the fix I guess. I can disable vsync without it. In Unreal Tournament I get around ~120 fps and in Q3A I get around ~200fps. (geforce3) In windows Xp though Ive got my refreshrate set to 75hz.
Ive never had to use the fix in any of my games.
I'd still try just disabling vsync first then download the fix only if you need it.
Not in the bios. Go to your display properties, click settings, then click the advanced button, then select the tab that shows your 3DCard, then click "additional properties" and then you can click opengl and direct3d and you should see some options where you can disable it. I have a geforce3 so my display properties could slightly different.
Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS
