Greetings,

Of a sudden lately on startup an "Error: No language support detected" message appears. It doesn't seem to affect anything, but it is exceedingly annoying.

Any ideas what's causing it, how to remedy?

Thanks.

Have you installed anything that coincided with the message?

What do you have running at startup?

No, I don't believe so. I installed Quark 6 plus upgrades most recently, but I'm sure I rebooted after that without the error.

A list of things that run on startup comes up when I run MSconfig and click the startup tab, but I can't copy and paste it, and there's a scroll bar to see them all. I suppose I could disable some and restart, see if it goes away. Royal pain.

I was hoping this was a known problem with a ready fix. ;-0

regards,

stevenjs

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
