HELP!

mIRC shows as connecting to homelien for the last 10 minutes, task manager says mIRC is not respodning, I end task in task mgr and select the end now and do not send report and mIRC is still connecting to homelien -

now what??

Reboot?

EFnet is the server type. There are quite a few of them, which is why it is important.

Just a quick note dont flame in there either or you'll get kicked or worse banned

try it the old fashioned way

in Mirc click connect
select random us effnet server form the list

then when (if) connects type
/j #xperience

Okay - but it is still showing as trying to concect - do I need to reboot since I can not get it to quit running in any of the normal ways?

Okay - did the reboot thing and did exactly(heh heh) as I was told!! The maunal way worked. Now all I have to do is copy all this down so I have it for next time.

What was the deal on the 30 day trial - do I just have to register to keep it active - uh, is it free?

I can't get on IRC or Messenger, or even monopoly... they have blocked all the ports... bit of a nitemare, especially as the site has been home since I travelled back up here to Sheffield.
