apple macs happens to be as good as apple makes them out to be...
the problem is they are not as good as most other hardware out there
which sort of puts apple into a bit of a tight spot... losing market share with product that it puts out that cost as much as or more than competing ibm compats that out perform it... in many areas...
the g5 is a nice device and if they stay true to their word and come out with a 3.0ghz version within a year... they may well still put some pressure on the competition... but again... apple needs to drop its price...
fubared benchmarks will only get them so far...
