well its been unplugged since this afternoon and I haven't had any trouble...maybe the burner itself is going??

Ran a virus scan, did a defrag already and it'll just tell me that whatever I'm running crashed, asks if I want to send the info to Microsoft and then when I hit DONT SEND it crashes.... No idea whats going on there. :(

When Windows XP is running my burner keeps trying to read when there is nothing in the drive. So then it keeps freezing up when this is going on... Any idea what to do? I tried new drivers... right now I have the case open and the stinker unplugged!

WHOOPS!!! I took out components that make Kazaa run...grrr.... but they were causing popups like mad, any way around that? Whats a good software to download mp3's?? I only know kazaa. :(

Ok, I just installed the ad=aware software and did a scan, it came up with a few things I've never seen before from "doubleclick" and then there was my hotbar stuff which I don't want removed. lets see if that helps! LOL

In MSCONFIG, in the startup tab I have this: em_exec; type32; rundll32; navapw32; nwiz; hbinst; webshots

I'm not on a dialup, I'm on a cable modem, it should never disconnect. :(
