So I'm installing my radeon x700 after just getting it exchanged for the PCIe version and the directions say to plug in the 6 pin power connector.. I see the plug but then I look at my video card and theres no where to plug it in.. I look all over the card.. nope no plug.. please tell me im...
I got a new graphics card for Christmas and I was so excited that I uninstalled the ATI graphics that came with the computer to find out later that the card I got was AGP when I had a PCIe slot. :dead:
Now since the graphics I uninstalled came with the computer, I don't have a cd to reinstall...
Thanks everyone for all your help.. I think I'm going to take my AGP card back and get a PCIe card. According to Radeon's website I shouldn't need any more wattage. Thanks again
K that's what I thought the problem would be.. guess I was hoping that that wasn't the case.. How many watts should my power supply have to run good PCI-E cards?
just took another look at it and i realize now that the slots not shifted as far back as I once thought.. Its probably not an agp slot.. Ill have some pictures up in a little bit..
