I just don't understand how some people don't understand the concept of choice.

Anyway, here's a fun little teaser video for IE 7. I'll just CnP the snippet from my blog:
Sean Alexander points to an interesting little teaser video for IE 7. It's creative, it's different, and it's a refreshing departure from typical promo videos that rattle off about every little new feature. And it's all that without being snide and jeering.

I like it! Good job to whoever was responsible. :)

NR, we've made the same choice they have. They stand by Firefox and despise IE and Norton branded products. Quite frankly, I'm tired of people saying it.

Thanks for sharing that video, it was a good laugh.

I haven't really made a choice, to be honest. I use Firefox on my desktop, the new IE 7 build on my laptop, and if I had one more machine that I used on a daily basis, I'd probably throw Opera on there, just to make life interesting. :D

You made a choice to do that. Life is about choices. Someone may or may not agree with your choice and that's a fact of life. Simply stated I am tired of users here not only pointing out the flaws but quickly pointing out that they should drop it and switch to some thing else.

If I want an ATI card and I ask for recommendations then give me recommendations for an ATI card and not brand X. And certainly don't tell me I'm an idiot for wanting ATI.

If I want IE, don't tell me to switch to Firefox/Opera.

That's my point.

Yeah, I agree with you. Which is why I said, it's funny how some people don't understand the concept. What one person may think is superior may not be the best choice for everyone else. :)

Yeah, they've been doing some good blogging on the IEBlog lately. Each post dedicated to a particular new feature. :)

I don't want to hijack, but MadMatt, how is that 1900 ?

This was my fav. part of that link Khayman posted:

@dchan1936: "I don't see much difference from Firefox other than it is a Microsoft product"

Current versions of Firefox do not offer Protected Mode style features. Any bug in Firefox that allows for code execution permits the code to execute with the user's permissions.

pawned

Shakes, it's scheduled to ship next week. I'll be sure to post a review.

I have just downloaded and installed the new beta Explorer 7 and it appears to be OK but I will make my final decision after a couple of days. One thing that perhaps somebody in the know can help me with.

I am obliged to use a 56k modem and a dial up connection. When clicking on the explorer icon I get the usual connection box and then I get another connection which I associate with the folder Network connections, the second one comes up after I have clicked on the first or normal one.

It then connects but the original connection box remains on the monitor, if I try to close it down I am then disconnected, there may be a simple answer to this and I do understand that it is a beta version. Anybody any ideas please.
I seem to have had no reply to my enquiry so I have done some searching and found that other people have had the same problem if they are on a dial up modem (56k). It has been reported to MS and has been acknowledged.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
