New Computer Build

I just built a PC for someone, my first AMD build. It was a 3000+ Venice core, and I am A-M-A-Z-E-D how fast this puppy is. I can't even believe what I have been missing all this time running Intel. I can't wait to get my own :)

Coming at this thread sideways and have not read it all - but whetever you are doing or building - you are folding like a demon! Storming up the team sheet already, so something must be going right - or are you putting a folding client on any rigs you build or configure for friends too? :0 :p hehe

I fold on my computer at home, my computer at work, and as of right now I fold on 3 computers that belong to clients. I am also building 3 new computers to be used at home, which they will all be folding as soon as I get to them, hopefully within 1-2 weeks all 3 will be online :)

It's addicting, I'm very competitive :)

So I got it built, here are the specs...

That was the new stuff, I also added a 74GB Western Digital Raptor, a 16x DVDRW as well as a DVD-ROM. I got some cool blue LED Fans, I will take pictures as soon as I can, hopefully within a day or two. It's pretty :)

Thanks to all who helped, I appreciate it

Whoa, you can't stop there. How is that Epox board working out? Have you looked at it's overclocking features yet?

Ha, easy killer. I will post pictures as soon as I can. Right now, however my digicam has to charge. I just tried to take some, but it was not happy with me :)

I haven't tried, and don't plan to overclock. Overall, this thing is BLAZING fast though. I like the blue LED on the mobo rather than green, and the digial panel really helps with error codes. When I first booted up it gave me the code 7F, which was a bad video card. Hottttt

Yeah but you could at least pop open the bios and list a few things like:

Are the AGP, PCI, RAM and FSB on seperate clock settings?

Does it have bios voltage adjust? Ram & CPU.

My past experience says Epox is not overclock friendly. I was wondering if they had changed their policy.

Next time I reboot I'll give it a look

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
