If you can't reply
Using only this structure
Then please don't bother;)

It's a contemplative poetry that valorizes nature, color, season, contrasts and surprises. Usually it has 3 lines and 17 syllabes distributed in 5, 7 and 5. It must register or indicate a moment, sensation, impression or drama of a specific fact of nature. It's almost like a photo of some specific moment of nature.

OK is "bad" Haiku permitted freightgod???

There once was a man called Saddam
And the west thought he was a mad man
He was not very nice
Treated the Kurds like lice
So we'll bimb him to Hell 'cause we can

If you know it's not,
Then why are you posting here?
You drive me to drink.

no you are missing the the point
Haiku should be about nature
trees, rivers, land.

if you just write 3 line poems
with structure of
three, five words per line

it is just bad writing
not an Haiku
fluffy butterfly flying in to the sky.

For Pete's sake, Benny,
Who's thread is it anyway?
You aren't any fun.

Sorry m8, forgive me please.
I will go away now.
Spam away Haiku.

By the way,
You can just do this:
Water from the waterfall is very pretty.

Life is not about this way of thinking or that way of thinking. You are falling into the trap of the “way of the warrior” and other “non productive” ways of thinking, just like Sadam Hussain (well had to get it in somewhere). Remove religion, politics and personal opinions and add up what’s left. This will equate (maybe) to a better version of the truth than can be currently observed. In the words of the eternal “Spock” from “Star Treck”: - Remove all that is false and what’s left is the truth even if you don’t understand it, or something similar.

Old ways of poetry are just that.

Don't get a set of beliefs when you are to young, they will come back to haunt you in later life.

:) :) :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
