luminosity : yeah, WinVNC is cool, but if you need something that's secure, check out the new version TightVNC Siiick as hell, and many new features, too many to list here. If you're networked you don't even need VNC on a pc to get to the other box, you can type the pc name and port # in your browser and connect that way.
I know these aren't programs but whoever was asking about a program that looks up IP's, is that even possible? How would it keep records, unless you were referring to something web-based and connected all the time. Technically you'd just be pinging or using other tcp/ip tools, right? Anyway, definite bookmarks for troubleshooting failed nodes or visually seeing a traceroute VisualRouteServer Wanna see if it works? Now, if someone has a good util to clean uninstall all these, that'd be perfect
