Firebird Discussion

Something that's kind of been bothering me concerning Firebird and this Forum... the reply box is really small. See the attached image. It's this way in quick reply and the full-fledged reply screen as well. What's the deal?

That's the size specified by vB. Firebird is rendering all aspects of the page the way the code specifies they should. Take a look at the code for the quick reply box. Notice how it's supposed to be 40 columns wide by 7 rows. That's the dimensions Firebird is using.

Well if thats the way it should be displayed, then it should be made wider. Looks kinda silly

I just have to tell you one of my favorite features of this browser

if laoding a page times out, I just get a window tellting me so.

"other" (to stay within guidlines, tee hee) browsers give me a can't connect page.

I 'M READY FOR THE TABS

ya, had to get used to this, so I made it look and feel as close to my other browser as possible

so, does somebody have an "ideal" strategy for how the tabs should be set?

or should I just play it by ear

I think I like the toolbar to be as minimal as possible, so I don't think I'll ever get used to the tabs, but I surely want to try them

oh, also, when I imported my favorites from ie, they bwecame inverted

besides one by one, is there anyway to do a mass inversion of the favorites?

bookmarks, manage bookmarks, view:

check sorted by name & A>Z sort order

ehh about tabs, download tab browser extensions, then you can really customize the tabs...i like mine at the botom of firebird, also I like that links to refers to other site to open in another tab

inverting by alphabet won't work, I have them in a particular order.
