I think you can only have 1gb of it as well.
I went out and spent 7 dollars on 2 1gb usb sticks. and only one works for the ready boost
I had a 512mb in there too, but I had to disable that for the 1gb to work.
Kinda really stinks, but ill take 4gb of memory

You will see the biggest gain with 1GB or less. However, I have 4GB of RAM and I am still able to use it (it asks me every time I pluh my key in if I want to set it up).

Well I know you can "use it", but doesn't it use physical RAM first or not? Following that logic, it would be not even worth it on machines that have ample RAM.
