Call it uncanny timing, with the recent update to Apple's iPhone, but Microsoft has released software for its Zune Mp3 player that adds several new features and adds support for the new Zune HD. What's new you might be asking? Well this is what Cnet had to say

...Well, there's a new look, a new opening Quickplay page (shown above), an updated store stocked with new HD movies, rentals, and TV shows, a Genius-like Smart DJ feature that can leverage your Zune Pass subscription for an unlimited on-demand music streaming experience that makes Pandora look like child's play.

There is a firmware update 3.20 for non HD users.

I actually had an issue updating it, program froze, but seems to be working now.

I fixed the post 😛, I am having to download the "zune package" to get the firmware installer manually, as the software wont update mine.

The HD launch must have went really well, the store and social have be sluggish for the last few days.
