yet more XP game crashes on XP pro

I have been having a hell of a time getting games to play on XP pro.

The latest 2 are Motocross Madness 2 and Tomb last revelation.

Both install fine, and go through the initial game loads and menus.

However, once I try to start a game it just exits out to the desktop, No error messages, nothing. They just quit to desktop.

I'm running a geforce2 gts with 32mb and nvidia 23.11 drivers on a PIII 800 with 384mb.

These games should run no probelm, but keep quiting.

Any ideas why?

have you tried a previous version of drivers?

Assume you do have directx 8.1 right?

What you need to do is goto the game .EXE and goto properties and run in compatablility mode - this will let you run slighty old games more easily 😀

get rid of 23.11 drivers they suck.

here is all kinds of drivers to try, personally i think the 21.85
are the most stable.
