XP Registration Key

When Windows XP is originally installed, a key must be entered. How do you change this key once XP has already been installed?

Of course I am refering to the key generator that is discussed at length in another thread. Assume the FCKGW.... key was used for the original install. How do you change it to a randomly generated key from the key generator?

I am curious about this because what good is the key generator (that has recently stirred up so much interest) if the keys it generates cannot be used unless you are doing a clean unstall?

I don't think there's anything illegal about it so far. No links to any files have been posted publicly on the forums, and no one posted detailed instructions on anything until your post, but all I see is a simple registry hack. 😀

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
