I have seen the Win2000 download for DX 8.1b, but I am worried about using it under XP.
I did a search on Dejanews and it seems that when it came out, it was listed as being for XP too... But later, the fact that it was for XP disappeared.
If you look at the MS DX page, it implies that this shouldn't be used for XP.
I am anxious to fix my problem.. But don't want to introduce more by going to an unsupported DX version.
