Xp activating

I am running XP Pro with XP Office. I have activated both products, but not bothered registering with Microsoft. I tend to format my drives quite often to keen them clear of junk. Is it likely, if I backup my System prior to formatting, that I could then reinstall it without having to activate both products again?

You have to activate everytime u reinstall it. But its not like its a major hastle for you to click 2 buttons the next time u connect to the net.

It's a rather easy process activating =P
