Word converters

I was wondering if there is a converter the will allow *.wpd files to be viewed normally thru MS word (XP). I thought there were built in converters but i cant get it to work

seriously is there an easier way than having to install ms works. considering i have lost ms works and only have office XP

I didn't like XP so I uninstalled it but it should have the converters. Office 2000 Word still has them.

Note: File converters are a seperate install item so you may need to drag out the Office CD and add them to your installation.

If they aren't offered standard anymore (on the Office XP CD) then go to the MS Office support site and look for them. They frequently keep older features around for download even if they have been discontinued.
