Word 2000 Problems

Got a problem with word, when i am scrolling up a down a document, it will just hang the machine, It has done this since i have built the machine, clean install of XP, and office 2000, put all SP on Office and XP, but still the same problem, does not do this in any other office apps, only word, also all my games work etc...

Just stoping me actually work

Has anyone come accross this problem before

I had something similar. It was a memory problem for me. I removed and reinserted all modules and the problem went away. If you have several modules, try pulling them out one at a time to see if the problem goes away when one particular module is pulled out. If the problem reoccurs when the module is reinserted, then that module is probably bad. Good luck.

also see if you have fast find and office start bar loading. If so, disable and see if that takes care of the problem.
